*CPS will do our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee it

The water level in the pool needs to be half way up the skimmer before the pool can be closed*:

*(In-ground pools only)

I will make sure the water level is at the correct level prior to closing
I want CPS to make sure my water level is at the correct level prior to closing. $85

The water should be clear, free of debris and needs to be balanced prior to closing. We suggest readings of 3-7ppm for chlorine, 7.2-7.8 for pH & 125-150 for alk. If you are on weekly service we take care of doing this for you:

:
I will prepare my water for closing.
I want CPS to prepare my water for closing. * $85

*There may be an additional charge for the chemicals to complete this process or for a cloudy &/or problem pool

Prior to your scheduled pool closing the water and debris need to be removed from your pool cover:

:
I will remove the water and debris from my cover prior to my scheduled pool closing*
I want CPS to remove the water and debris from my cover $85

*In the event this is not complete prior to our arrival and our schedule allows, we will complete this task for you at an additional charge of $85. If our schedule doesn't allow for the additional time, your pool closing will need to be rescheduled.

Do you want Combined Pool and Spa to install a winter cover on your pool:

Install a mesh cover – this is for in-ground pools without an auto cover. $120.00

Install a winter cover – this is for an above ground pool.* $120

*CPS will automatically add $50 to this cost if you have a deck around any portion of your pool.

Install a water tube cover – This is for an above ground pool.* $145

*While uncommon and dependent on environmental factors, having a winter cover on your pool may cause damage to your pool. We are not responsible for this damage.

I do not need to have a winter cover installed

Do you want Combined Pool and Spa to clean your Mineral Springs Cell? This should be done at least once per season and can also be completed at opening:

    Clean Mineral Springs Cell $25
I don't want CPS to clean my cell
    I don't have a cell

Do you want Combined Pool and Spa to clean your cartridge filter?

    Clean my cartridge filter* $85

*Generally we remove your filters and bring them back to the store for cleaning.

I don't want CPS to clean my cartridge filter
    I don't have a cartridge filter

Water features on a pool also need to be winterized:

I have 1-4 water features on my pool to be winterized. This may include a slide, mini jets, laminar jets, waterfalls, etc. $45
I have 5-10 water features on my pool to be winterized. This may include a slide, mini jets, laminar jets, waterfalls, etc. $75
I do not have any water features on my pool*

*In the event you do have water features on your pool, we will close them and automatically apply the applicable charge.

It is our practice to not remove pool lights if they are below the freeze line. Please indicate if you want your light removed:

    Please remove my light
Please leave my light in my pool as long as it is below the freeze line

Geothermal units also need to be winterized:

I have a geothermal unit that I want CPS to winterize $100
    I don't have a geothermal unit

Other items to note about your pool closing are below. Please mark each one as you read it.

Close your pool as late in the year as possible and open as early as possible. To run the pool pump 24/7 is less expensive than buying chemicals to clear a cloudy/green pool. You can shut off your heater at any time.

A pool has a better chance of opening clear if it is closed clean, clear and balanced. A pool that is closed with debris, is cloudy and/or unbalanced will open as an even bigger problem in the spring.

We will schedule pool closings in the same zone on the same date on a first come first serve basis. When specific dates are requested you may incur additional charges.

Make arrangements to have gates and pool house unlocked and animals put away.

Have all items needed for pool closing next to the pool (e.g. covers, gizmos, plugs, etc) Anything needed to close your pool properly that is not provided will be charged to your closing service.

If you are installing a winter cover yourself, do not install the cover until after your pool has been closed. In the event we have to remove a cover there will be an additional charge applied to your closing service and the cover may not be reinstalled.

Our prices include 3 gallons of antifreeze. In the event your pool needs more antifreeze to close it properly there will be an additional charge.

I also want CPS to:

    Winterize my spa $139
Drain, Clean and Refill my Spa $149
    Open my spa $125
I don't want CPS to do anything with my spa
    I don't have a spa
